Full Moon Circle
Because the moon reminds us to gather and celebrate.
A small cohort of families (kids ages 4-8) will join together for 5 outdoor gatherings as we prepare for and celebrate the Full Moon holidays that punctuate the winter and spring. We'll explore the holidays through nature, art, and cooking, and of course, read some great PJ Library stories together.
January 22: Tu B'Shevat Tree Walk to mark the Birthday of the Trees
February 12: Purim Katan Community Service Project (yes, we have a "little" Purim this year!)
March 12: Purim Joy & Sweetness with Maple Syrup
April 9: Preparing your Passover Table with Scribble
June 5: Shavuot Celebration (this will be on a Sunday, since that's the actual holiday!)
Our gatherings will take place on Saturday afternoons: The Early Circle will start at 1p, and the Later Circle will start at 3p. The cost is $200 per family, and the locations will be shared before each gathering and will be within a 30-minute drive.
This program is made possible through a grant from PJ Library, a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.
