5th Grade Family Circle
Because together we transform Jewish wisdom into a joyful way of life.
We're building an intentional cohort of families around these shared goals:
This Family Circle is actually two concentric Circles:
Holy Day Circle (monthly on the 3rd Wednesday afternoon for 5th Graders): We’ll explore Jewish holidays through nature, art, cooking, and community service. This will be a great way to connect with a small cohort of peers and experience the rhythm and wisdom of the Jewish calendar through hands-on experiences.
Shabbat Circle (monthly on the 1st Shabbat for 5th Graders and their families): We’ll gather as a family of families for a Friday night festive meal, a reflective Saturday morning service, or a sweet Havdalah ritual at each other’s homes. This will be a great way to connect with a larger sense of community, learn from the B Mitzvah students in our midst, and explore your family’s relationship with Shabbat.
Led by Rabbi Bethie Miller, the cost of this Circle is $600.
I'm looking forward to this journey with your 5th Grader and your family! An email receipt with your registration information is on its way.
